NLP-is it a cultBecause NLP has some many tools to improve persuasion and influence, occasionally I get questions about whether NLP is ethical, manipulative or cultish. It’s a valid question and usually leads to a discussion of what the intentions are when someone employs NLP techniques.

In my opinion, NLP is a set of tools. Tools can be used to build things or break thenm apart. What’s you intent when using these tools?
